Recently Hyderabad was in news because of twin bomb blast that killed 43 people and the collapse of the flyover at Punjagutta area proved that the fifth largest metropolis of India, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh, known for its rich history and culture with monuments, mosques, temples, a rich and varied heritage in arts, crafts, dance and non-vegetarian food is not as safe as it used to be.

Two Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots were killed when their trainer aircraft crashed at Hakimpet Air Force Academy on the outskirts of the city. This unfortunate incident occurred in the early hours within minutes of taking off from the Hakimpet airbase.

The bodies of the two pilots, Squadron Leader Bhagat, 33, and trainee pilot S.C. Pathi, 26, both residents of Lucknow, could not be recovered as they were completely burnt with the aircraft.

The HAL made Kiran aircraft use for training of Air Force pilots’ reportedly took off at at 2.50 am and crashed into bushes soon. The plane was on a night training sortie. As the plane crashed in an open area, there are no causalities on ground.
Hyderabad police said,

The immediate cause of the mishap was not known, But IAF officials suspect it was a technical snag which led to the crash and say a mistake on part of Bhagat is very bleak as he was very skillful.

Let me tell you, since 1989, the Kiran aircraft, a simple straight-wing aircraft with side-by-side seating had been 11 cases of its engine flameout in air or on ground responsible for the death of many talented pilots who would serve country in many ways if they had not been killed in the training.
Therefore, government that uses its most of the fund rose through various taxes (income tax, excise tax) to provide security to these flambuoyant politicians and VIPS, should immediately upgrade the avionics equipment of Kiran aircraft.
