Law and order, a top priority for Mayawati
Few days after getting the post of Chief Minister, Mayawati, President of Bahujan Smaj party, has alerted BJP MLAs for not taking law and order for granted in her own style. May be she forget about MLAs of her own party who have criminal background and currently few of them are ministers in her new government.

In a statement she said that high profile criminals would not be spared. Mam! I want to say that who lives in glass houses, never through stones on others. Before blaming others you should look at criminals in your respected party. Mayawati reacted sharply on reports of BSP MLAs showing weapons at ‘Vijay Rally’.

She said furiously:

No one has got the liberty to play with law and order. Anyone found guilty would be punished.

Mayawati called an emergency meeting after reports came of BSP men indulging in violence in Hardoi, Bulandshahr and Meerut districts. Warning her own MLAs she added:

I think this warning is enough as I do not want to see such acts in future again, Maintaining law and order is my priority and I do not want to see my MLAs indulging in violence.

Explaining about the act of BSP men in Vijay Rally, the BSP chief said that those who displayed weapons and opened fire in Rally were not from BSP.

In a clash in Sultanpur area two Samajwadi Party (SP) supporters were allegedly shot dead by BSP workers Amit Singh, Shiv Shankar and Munna Singh. The present BSP government is enforcing NSA and Gangster’s Act on mafia-politicians of the previous Samajwadi Party regime.

Let’s see how does she maintain law and order in Utter Pradesh! After all, she was the one who put an end to Raja Bhaiya’s goondagiri.
